We receive inquiries on a weekly basis as to the availability of individual measles, mumps and rubella vaccines, aka MMR. The measles and the rubella vaccines are available individually with a doctors prescription and can be filled by a pharmacy. The mumps vaccine is only available to the physician. The manufacturer, Merck will not sell mumps vaccine to pharmacies. We would be happy to help you navigate this difficult process to advise you on what your options are. Feel free to call Steve in the Compounding Center @ 781-893-3870, option 3 then option 1.
You can contact Steve @ 781-893-3870 x 0 for any questions regarding vaccines and he will gladly answer them for you!

May 28, 2008 @ 9:44 amI would like to get the separate measles and the rubella vaccines for my 5 year old son. I would also like to get the mumps vaccine for him. Can you help me with what my options are for the mumps vaccine? I am not sure which vaccine I’ll start with but I’d like to go ahead and get started, so please let me know what the best way to do it is. Should I order all at once? Does my doctor contact you or is it through me? Thank you!
