We attended the Educational Conference!

Last weekend two of the JCW family were in Florida attending and Educational Conference.  The 3-in-1 conference was presented by America College of Apothecaries (ACA ), The International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) and The American College of Veterinary Pharmacists (AVCP).  Omar Allibhai, RPH and Janelle Ogle, Director of Quality Assurance, were very busy over the weekend. They gained insight into new and upcoming legislative and regulatory actions from top industry leaders.  They worked hand in hand with colleagues from across the nation, discussing new and innovative ways to advance compounding pharmacy practice and procedure.
And a big congratulations to Omar!  He was presented ‘The Fellowship from the American College of Apothecaries’, which is only given to those who have dedicated to promote the profession of Pharmacy in their respective fields.  He has been required to adhere to the practice standards, and only those found worthy are presented with the honor.  Click here to view the practice standards required by ACA.
